Completion of the Library

Works on the Guille Alles Library are now complete.

The works have included a revamp of the entrance hall providing new self-service machines. The stairway has also been repainted and re-carpeted. This has modernised the building as a whole and brought it up to date, to attract more visitors and users to the facilities. The listed Victorian features are highlighted restoring their original character. The building is now lighter and brighter letting the original encaustic floor in the lobby shine. There has been much positive feedback from the public.
